Project Background: This highway construction passes through mountainous areas with long construction routes, requiring multiple construction camps to be set up along the route. The complex terrain of the mountainous area makes it difficult to transport traditional construction materials, and the construction sites are scattered, which requires that the camps can be flexibly adapted to different terrain conditions.

Application of container house:

Layout according to local conditions: according to the mountainous terrain, the container houses are placed in a staggered manner. Set up the main living and office areas in flatter lots, using a combination of stacking and splicing. For places with large slopes, containers are placed on them by building supports, forming a unique tiered camp.

Functional integration: Each camp includes dormitories, offices, warehouses and other functional areas. The interior of the dormitory containers are made of warm and insulating materials to cope with the large temperature difference between day and night in mountainous areas. The warehouse containers, on the other hand, have been modified internally according to the different materials stored, such as setting up shelves and ventilation equipment.

Environmental protection measures: Utilizing the abundant solar energy resources in mountainous areas, solar panels are installed on top of the container houses to provide part of the camp with electricity. At the same time, a rainwater collection system is used to utilize the collected rainwater for non-potable uses, such as flushing toilets and watering greenery.
