Construction camp for a large bridge construction project

Thanks to the rapid erection of the containerized houses, the construction camp was built in a short period of time, enabling the project to start as early as possible. Throughout the life of the project, the sturdy structure of the containerized houses withstood the variable weather conditions along the river, including strong winds, heavy rains and other inclement weather. Furthermore, upon completion of the project, the containerized houses were dismantled and transported to other project sites for further use, saving resources and costs.

Products Description

Project Background: In a bridge construction project over a large river with an estimated construction period of 3 years, the construction site is located on the river side on relatively flat but limited space. Due to the remoteness of the project, there is a need to provide accommodation, office and living facilities for a large number of construction personnel.

Containerized housing applications:

Accommodation area: A double-story dormitory was constructed using a combination of multiple 40-foot containers. The interior of each container was divided into multiple rooms, each equipped with beds, tables, chairs, and individual storage spaces. The containers are connected by stairs and corridors, creating an accommodation area that can accommodate hundreds of people. This two-story design makes efficient use of space while ensuring structural stability.

Office Area: Offices were created using standardized 20-foot containers. The interiors were simply decorated and fitted with desks, chairs, computers and filing cabinets. A number of office containers were spliced together to form office areas, including the project manager's office, technical department offices, and conference rooms.

Living Support Area: A container cafeteria was set up, equipped with kitchen equipment, dining tables and chairs to provide three meals a day for the construction workers. In addition, the containers are also used to build showers and toilets, and through the reasonable design of water supply and drainage system, the effective treatment of sewage is realized.
